The Polish Muuvit “moves” kids into libraries

A WAY TO INTEGRATE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY INTO EDUCATION

In line with their virtual Muuvit journey, school classes from Poland visit local libraries, discovering more about the cities they have traveled to, or finding out more about the literature and famous authors from these countries.

 

The librarian’s role here, is to organize „theme activities” in the library once the team reaches subsequent destinations, like the „Spanish night” or „french breakfast”.

This interesting and fun combination of physical activity and literature is supported by the Polish Librarians Association FRSI within the Framework “Global Libraries Programme of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
